I realized today that I forgot to post some of the christmas pictures of Sadie

This is because I downloaded them to show Mark how to do digital pictures

More good news:

Things went really well yesterday

I went to talk to the loan officer

She was very nice

Ran all my info and then asked me how much I wanted

I told her

She typed some more and said:

You Qualified :)

You even get two smiley faces

When I looked puzzled she turned her screen towards me and sure enough:

There were two smiley faces next to "You Qualified"

lol... sweet. 

So she printed out the paper that said what our monthly payments would be

Everything included it would be $300 less than we used to pay for rent...hah!

What a relief...

 

So then I walked next door to talk to the Coldwell Banker

The realtor over our house wasn't there

So I talked to this other lady

Didn't like her much I must admit

After talking to her for like 15 mnutes

I was feel very anxious and stressed

She also told me our house was still in the "pre-listing stage"

So we wouldn't be able to even make an offer on it for another three months...

 

She went to print me some listings

And when she got back I said:

Okay, question for you: what do we do now?

Do we stay? Do we need to start planning to move? What happens now?

Oh well, you have to move out and Page will be calling you she said

No no, I said, she's already done that and she said if we prequalified we could stay

Oh she said.  Well... let's go get Page and see what she says...

She leaves and I sit there for a long time....

 

Page and the lady finally come back

Page has a gigantic file

I have never seen such a big file

It was very very tall

And it had folds like a book

She set it down on the table with a big THUMP

And opened it up like sh was opening a huge encyclopedia

 

I peeked at the file and noticed she had notes on every conversation we had ever had including every message she had ever left... yikes... glad I was nice and all...

 

Okay she says, and smiled at me

We did a preassessment of your house back in November

We drove by it and took pictures

You were stalking my house? I said

Yes, she said and we assessed it to be worth $149,900

(YAY!!!)

The realty lady suddenly looked a lot more interested

And gave me this look like "Huh...you're not as stupid as you look..."

 

So, Page continued, we need to have someone get in there to take pictures of the inside

And this may even go down

So we'll redo the report

Then we'll send that and your pre-Qual letter to the Bank

And we'll see what they say

And the meeting was over

 

I left and the guy came the next day to take pictures

As he was leaving he asked me:

Have they told you when you're starting Escrow yet?

Uh... no, I said, this is just to assess what the house is worth....

He shrugged at that like "whatever... this is unimportant..."

And said, Well good luck, hope you get it!

 

Cool cool....

So we have thought that we would look at other places

But basically we have thought that whatever fell into place

That would be what we would do

So right now it looks like we might be staying here...

Things seem to be falling into place... but we'll see

Page did say that we might still have to move out anyway

Which would be a pain

But she said sometimes they let you keep your stuff here

But you have to be "living" somewhere else

So we might be living with his parents for awhile while all that settles

We'll see.... YAY... we are sure excited to see what happens....

So right now we are just waiting for a phone call to hear what they thought....
